Overview What we collect Wallet & on-chain data How we use it Sharing Retention Your rights Contact

This Privacy Policy explains how Ship Labs ("Ship", "we", "us") handles information when you use the Ship app and related services (the "Service"). Ship is wallet-native: we are built to collect as little about you as possible.

1. Overview

Ship lets you build, preview, and publish Solana Mobile dApps from your device using your crypto wallet as your identity. We do not require an email address, password, or traditional account to use the core Service. Connecting a wallet means we process your public wallet address, but we never have access to your private keys, seed phrase, or funds.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Prompts and project content — the descriptions you type and the dApps you generate, so we can build and store your projects.
  • Optional contact details — if you email us or join a waitlist, we receive whatever you choose to send (such as your email address).

Information collected automatically

  • Public wallet address — when you connect a wallet to sign in or pay.
  • Usage and device data — basic, often aggregated diagnostics such as app version, device type, crash logs, and feature usage, used to keep the Service reliable.

We do not collect your private keys, seed phrases, or any data that would let us move your assets.

3. Wallet & on-chain data

Payments for credits are settled as transactions on the Solana blockchain. Information recorded on a public blockchain — including wallet addresses and transaction amounts — is public, permanent, and outside our control. We cannot edit or delete on-chain records. Please keep this in mind before transacting.

4. How we use information

  • To build, preview, store, and publish the dApps you create.
  • To process credit purchases and confirm on-chain payments.
  • To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
  • To respond to your support requests and communicate important updates.
  • To comply with applicable law and prevent abuse or fraud.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

  • With service providers (e.g. cloud hosting, AI model providers, analytics) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • On the blockchain, as inherent to any on-chain transaction you authorize.
  • For legal reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Ship and its users.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy.

6. Data retention

We keep project content and account-related data for as long as your projects are active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, unless a longer retention is required by law. On-chain data cannot be deleted by us.

7. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. Because Ship is wallet-based, the primary identifier we may hold is your public wallet address and the project content tied to it.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, announced in-app or via @ship_dapp.
